Upon your arrival, our tour guide will transfer you to Eastern Uganda – Sipi Area. On arrival, you will start your tour with a visit to the famous Sipi falls where you will be showered by the water falls in enjoyment as the magical white waters flow down the rock to form impressive waterfalls. The site offers impressive scenic views and encounter with nature. Retire for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, set off to hike Mt. Elgon the fourth tallest Mountain in East Africa rising to 4,321m above sea level. The mountain features the largest volcanic mountain caldera in the whole world 42km2 and the largest volcanic base in the whole world extending to 4,000km2. The whole day hike exposes to impressive mountain slopes marked with lush flora and tropical forest before approaching the mountain vegetation like the lobelia and groundsels. The sights of birds and mountain flora might not be missed while the magical views of the Bagisu farmlands, Mbale town and the plains of Karamoja are rewarding. Retire for overnight
Early in the morning after breakfast embark on your journey to Kidepo National Park driving through the landscapes of Nakapiripirt, Kotido, Moroto with the views of Mount Moroto before approaching Kaboong and Kidepo in the evening for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
After your early morning breakfast, you will have a morning game drive to Kanangorok hot spring. Kidepo Valley National Park harbors a total of 86 mammal species, making it the National Park with the third highest number of game in Uganda, Kidepo National Park also protects a far greater variety of large mammals than any other national park in Uganda that including 28 species found nowhere else in Uganda. Her bird species checklist has 463 confirmed and 26 of which are unconfirmed. Kidepo NP is only matched by Queen Elizabeth National Park. After having your lunch at the lodge you will go to Karenna and Kapedo for a cultural performance by the native Karamojong people. Retire for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Your guide will drive you to Murchison having your lunch en route. Drive along the impressive northern Uganda Landscapes of Kitgum and Gulu greatly known as former grounds for the horrific rebel war of Joseph Kony before he was ousted out of Uganda. Arrive in Murchison Falls National Park in the evening for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
After an early morning breakfast, embark on a game drive to the north of the River Nile following delta tracks that runs west from the ferry jet at Paraa to the Lake Albert Delta. The 20 km2 area of grassland adjacent to the Victoria Nile delta- as it flows into Lake Albert has an overwhelming concentration of wildlife to the fascination of any tourist. The possible sights include; the lions, elephants, the Buffaloes, the Jackson’s Hartebeest, the Rothschild Giraffes, the Oribis, the leopard among others.
Go back in the afternoon enjoy a boat cruise to the bottom of Murchison falls. The launch trip to the base of the falls is the highlight of most trips to Murchison Falls, but the boat cruise downriver from Paraa towards the Lake Albert delta is best for birdwatchers, because it offers the best opportunity to see shoe bills.
Early in the morning after breakfast, go to Kaniyo Pabidi Forest in Budongo Forest for chimpanzee tracking along forest birds such as the white thighed horn bill, the chocolates-backed Kingfisher, chestnut-winged starling, Trogon, Narina and the puvel’s illadopsis along with the Yellow footed fly catcher not found anywhere in East Africa. Retreat from 2 – 5 hour chimp trek inclusive of one hour direct viewing encounter with them and embark on the transfer to Kampala. You branch off at Nakitooma for 7km to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track the southern white Rhinos that thrive at only this part in whole of Uganda. You retreat from the encounter and continue to Kampala.
After an early morning breakfast you will embark on the Kampala city tour and visit Kabaka/King of Buganda palace, Makerere University-the oldest university in East Africa, the Baha’i temple, Kasubi tombs, Owino market, Namugongo Uganda Martyrs shrine, Kibuli and Gadhafi mosque plus other attractions.
